For the first time, developers can access OpenAI’s state-of-the-art tools without being tethered specifically to the Microsoft ecosystem.
For years, enterprise developers wishing to harness OpenAI’s generative power were effectively limited to Microsoft Azure. By integrating with Bedrock, OpenAI is meeting enterprise customers where they already operate. AWS CEO Matt Garman noted that the decision was driven by intense market demand, as the majority of production applications and corporate data already reside on Amazon’s infrastructure.
