2026 Top Incubator Conference Convenes in Shanghai to Accelerate Hard Tech

China News Service reported that the 2026 Top Incubator Conference took place in Shanghai under the theme of artificial intelligence driving innovation to incubate the future. The event strategically partnered with the World Laureates Forum for the first time, taking place during the same week to establish an acceleration mechanism connecting scientific discovery, technological transformation, and industrial incubation. Focusing on hard technology incubation, the international conference aims to build institutional connections between top science origins and premier incubation capabilities. The initiative works to efficiently transform cutting-edge scientific achievements and clear innovation paths from basic research to industrial application, with both organizations set to host a joint forum later this month. During the event, the Shanghai Technology Business Incubator Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shanghai World Laureates Development Foundation. Cross-border cooperation agreements were also concluded by Lingang Science and Technology Investment Company and Lingang Science and Technology City Company alongside institutions including the Cambridge Science Park in the United Kingdom and San Raffaele Hospital Group in Italy.

The International Innovation Collaborative Incubation Alliance expanded its network through a licensing ceremony, incorporating multiple new institutions such as Italy's San Raffaele Hospital, the NeoBay Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community, and the Global Cross-border Technology Trade Center.
