Source Policy

How we evaluate and present source material.

Source Hierarchy

We distinguish between primary sources, original reporting, portal reposts and unverified commentary.

Primary documents and clearly attributed original reporting receive the greatest weight. Reposts may help us discover a story but do not automatically count as independent confirmation. Anonymous or unverifiable claims are either excluded or clearly labeled.

Transparency

Each published brief lists the principal sources used. Source links are provided so readers can inspect the underlying material whenever it remains publicly available.

What We Exclude

  • Unverified social-media claims presented as fact
  • Portal reposts treated as independent confirmation
  • Anonymous tips without corroborating evidence
  • Internal abbreviations or shortcodes as public source names

Link Policy

Source links in our articles are standard hyperlinks without nofollow attributes, unless the linked content is sponsored or user-generated. We believe readers deserve direct access to verify our claims.
