2026 Artificial Intelligence Industry Conference Opens in Jinan

The 2026 Artificial Intelligence Industry Conference opened on October 15 in Jinan to accelerate the integration of cutting-edge technology with the real economy, China News Service reported. The event released research reports and technical specifications regarding AI agents, embodied intelligence, and on-device intelligence. During the event, a high-value scenario map covering 20 sub-sectors and over 1000 high-value scenarios was released under the coordination of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, forming an operational roadmap for new industrialization across core manufacturing areas. The China Computing Valley Artificial Intelligence Public Service Platform was also officially launched by regional authorities and supporting institutions. The platform pools core resources, including computing power, models, data, and applications, to precisely match regional computing resources and empower vertical scenarios as an eastern hub for China's integrated computing power network. Five organizations, including Inspur Yunzhou Industrial Internet Co., Ltd. and Haier Smart Home Co., Ltd., launched a partnership to co-build a national artificial intelligence application pilot base, cooperating on generic AI capabilities, high-quality datasets, and shared industrial scenarios.
