Ningxia Hosts Technology and Capital Matchmaking Event for Modern Chemical Sector

According to China News Service, an event connecting technology managers, technology transfer agencies, and financial empowerment resources for key industries in the modern chemical field was held in Yinchuan on October 15. The gathering relied on the national east-west science and technology cooperation leading zone platform to assemble resources from multiple provinces to assist Ningxia in transforming and upgrading its modern chemical industry. The event released 129 technological innovation demands in the modern chemical sector and promoted more than ten key innovation platforms and pilot bases in Ningxia, including the Ningdong modern coal chemical pilot platform, the Shizuishan advanced materials pilot platform, Liupanshan Laboratory, and Helanshan Laboratory. Representatives from entities including Tianjin University, Beijing TusStar Incubator, Ningxia Weiyuan New Energy, and PICC P&C Ningxia Branch shared practical experiences on commercializing scientific outcomes and deploying financial capital. To enhance practical results, organizers arranged pairing visits where expert groups conducted field research across Ningxia key laboratories, pilot platforms, and demanding enterprises. Technical managers used their professional capabilities in identifying technical needs, matching projects, and linking investment and financing alongside local managers familiar with regional enterprises, policies, and conditions to identify bottlenecks and carry out targeted matching.

This year, Ningxia science and technology authorities have held three similar matchmaking events across equipment manufacturing, new materials, and modern chemical industries. These efforts established one-on-one service mechanisms for 368 innovation demands, connecting technology, talent, and capital to advance the implementation of scientific and technological achievements in Ningxia.
