Shi stated that the compilation serves as an authoritative teaching text that reflects the theoretical system and practical experience of party governance in the current era. According to state media reports, the establishment of the Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building Research Center received formal approval from the CPC Central Committee. The center is intended to function as a core platform for theoretical research, ideological promotion, and practical application of Xi's directives on internal party affairs. During the symposium, details regarding the anthology's compilation were highlighted. Published in June under the direction of the central leadership, the two-volume work was edited by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee. Volume 1 includes 46 works outlining early efforts to transition internal party management from lax oversight to strict discipline, while Volume 2 comprises 56 works focusing on recent measures since the 20th CPC National Congress, including addressing challenges unique to large political parties. Shi emphasized several core principles for party cadres, urging them to uphold the centralized, unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee, adhere to the strategic course of full and rigorous self-governance, and maintain a people-centered approach. He also underscored the need to prioritize political development across all dimensions of party construction to ensure organizational cohesion and effectiveness.
