Jiangxi Launches First Token Factory to Provide On-Demand Intelligent Computing

People's Daily reported that Jiangxi Province's first Token Factory project officially landed in the Nanchang High-tech Zone. Co-constructed by Nanchang High-tech Investment Group Co., Ltd. and China Mobile's Nanchang branch, the venture acts as an artificial intelligence empowerment platform focused on advancing regional intelligent computing infrastructure. The initiative processes computing power into tokens to deliver an integrated service encompassing computing power, models, and applications. Relying on China Mobile's Model-as-a-Service platform, the factory aggregates over 300 mainstream large models and accommodates specialized industry applications across manufacturing, healthcare, and education. During its operational phase, Nanchang High-tech Investment Group Co., Ltd. plans to expand business outward while serving the local market to secure stable operating revenue. The company also intends to strengthen cost control and implement network and data security requirements. The Jiangxi Computing Power Alliance, which gathers 47 government, enterprise, university, and research member units, will supply models, data, and scenario resources while channeling academic talent into the platform.

According to Yu Yidong, director and deputy general manager of Nanchang High-tech Investment Group Co., Ltd., shared operations reduce intelligent computing costs and technical barriers, enabling small and medium enterprises and startup teams to access large models at low expense and focus on application innovation.
