Yunnan Power Grid Expands Targeted Services to Support Green Manufacturing

People's Daily reported that Yunnan Power Grid Company has drawn core personnel across business segments to assemble 18 specialized service teams. These teams visit enterprise workshops and project sites to investigate power demands, resolving practical challenges including capacity expansion, energy efficiency optimization, and green electricity declarations on-site. In the Wanman area of Wanding, Ruili City, Dehong Prefecture, 100 cross-border trade, processing, and cold-chain logistics enterprises have gathered. The Dehong Power Supply Bureau assesses the baseline power consumption of park enterprises individually and tracks load fluctuations in real time to ensure reliable power supply. At the Lincang Border Economic Cooperation Zone, the local power supply bureau partnered with the administrative committee to hold dedicated symposiums on green electricity and green certificates. Staff members analyzed power bills individually in workshops, assisting enterprises with customized energy-saving and carbon-reduction plans. Yunnan Power Grid Company has conducted comprehensive visits covering 122 industrial parks, 12 electrolytic aluminum enterprises, and over 6000 industrial enterprises above designated size. These efforts involved more than 3900 on-site service visits, gathering power requirements and creating a rectification ledger with more than 130 entries.

Yunnan Lianying Textile Co., Ltd. General Manager Xie Xinchun stated that stable power delivery since settling in has protected full-capacity operation on the production line, following personalized electricity bill reviews and energy-saving planning by Lincang Power Supply Bureau.
