China Clean Energy Equipment Manufacturing Expands Rapidly

China News Service reported that China Machinery Industry Federation Party Secretary and President Xu Niansha addressed the 2026 World Clean Energy Equipment Conference, stating that the nation's clean energy equipment supply capability continues to make rapid leaps. During the first half of the year, domestic output of nuclear power generating units, hydro turbine generating units, and wind turbine generating units recorded year-on-year increases of 92.0%, 51.9%, and 11.5% respectively. Data revealed that exports of clean energy equipment maintained strong momentum during the first half of the year. Overseas shipments of transformers, electrical control equipment, and photovoltaic items rose year-on-year by 26.8%, 23.5%, and 18.5% respectively, with large volumes of clean energy equipment reaching more than 200 countries and regions. The gathering in Deyang, Sichuan, operated under the theme of green new energy intelligent manufacturing for a new future under the organization of the China Machinery Industry Federation. During the event proceedings, organizers officially released clean energy equipment technological innovation application achievements alongside mechanical industry clean energy equipment standard research achievements.
