According to a report from China News Service, the Mingde Strategic Dialogue took place in Xinyu, Jiangxi, from October seven to nine. Over one hundred twenty guests, including thirteen international strategic scholars from nations such as the United States, Britain, and Australia, met to discuss the future of the lithium industry. Xinyu has developed a comprehensive lithium industrial chain over sixty years. The city currently boasts a lithium salt production capacity exceeding three hundred thousand tons, with lithium hydroxide exports holding over half of the international market share. Numerous enterprises are now integrated into a system covering mining, manufacturing, and battery recycling. During the first eight months of the year, Xinyu saw significant growth in its lithium sector. Lithium salt production reached over one hundred fifty thousand tons, while battery output grew substantially. The industry generated billions in revenue and profit, with total annual industrial scale expected to exceed fifty-five billion in currency. Zhu Longxiang of the China Industrial Association of Power Sources stated that domestic lithium battery production leads globally. Applications are expanding rapidly into transportation, energy storage, and industrial equipment. These advancements support green transitions across various economic sectors, providing essential power solutions for electric vehicles and modern power grid systems.
