The Brief

Xinhua News Agency reported that logistics companies are deploying artificial intelligence and intelligent robots across warehousing, sorting, transportation, and delivery stages to improve operational efficiency as the annual Double 11 e-commerce period begins. STO Express placed artificial intelligence directly into frontline operations as digital employees using its SClaw agent platform to handle human workload during the prolonged campaign. The system operates front-end digital customer service, dynamic trunk-route planning, digital avatars that assist delivery couriers with outbound calls and route planning, and digital quality-control alerts for sensitive parcels. JD Logistics prepared its upgraded Chaonao 3.0 large model and Wolf robotics suite for full application during the peak period. Acting as a decision hub, Chaonao 3.0 forecasts regional order volumes and dynamically adjusts nationwide transport capacity, achieving an adoption rate above 90.2% for its recommended courier delivery paths. YTO Express has expanded digital operations by applying digital twins across all distribution hubs in its network. The company deployed machine vision across 24 business scenarios, embedded more than 100 agents into route optimization, dispatch analysis, and customer service tickets, and put 28 digital employees into operational and service roles.
