Bamboo Industry Innovation Alliance Conference Convenes in Nanping

China News Service reported that the Bamboo Industry Innovation Alliance Conference took place on October 24 at the Wuyi Bamboo Cube eco-tech innovation pavilion in Shaowu, Nanping, Fujian province. More than one hundred attendees, including enterprise representatives, local department officials, and delegates from design colleges across China, convened to discuss industrial innovation. During the event, Shaowu municipal official Meng Yu and former Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology president Professor Jia Ronglin unveiled the Shaowu Bamboo Industry Innovation and Creative Research Exchange Platform, establishing a physical base for government, industry, academia, and research collaboration. Organizers also released Shaowu bamboo industry innovation and creative design needs, which subsequent signed partner teams will adopt for project-based operations to generate practical innovation outcomes. Throughout the session, academic specialists delivered lectures on industry development, while cross-strait institutional representatives and Shaowu business leaders exchanged perspectives regarding creative design, technology transfer, and school-enterprise cooperation.

National Cheng Kung University Professor Lu Ting-pang stated that the alliance offers institutions a valuable collaborative interface, enabling academic bodies to focus on joint research, system design, brand communication, talent cultivation, and standards while placing design achievements in local areas.
